The Open Water Instructor Evaluation is the testing process. This is where the final academic exam is given, and the teaching presentations are graded. It is a formal, objective set of tests that candidates must pass in order to receive certification as an Open Water Instructor (and Diver Stress & Rescue, Enriched Air Nitrox  and Perfect Buoyancy Instructor). A comprehensive Instructor Evaluation takes about two days depending on how many candidates are being evaluated.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Pass the Instructor Training Course (ITC) successful
  • Have logged at least 100 dives
  • Current Medical (not older then a year)
  • Current First Aid, CPR and O2 Administration
