Multi-gas diving
Push the limits and reach the pinnacle of extended range diving
Extended Range Nitrox Diving
The line between recreational Nitrox diving and technical diving is sometimes difficult to determine. Descending here in Cebu, Philippines along a coral wall in clear warm waters you will not find a warning sign painted at 40m! Many recreational divers have successfully ventured deeper and have safely returned to the surface.
Just as recreational divers have crossed the boundary into “tech”, it is often the case that technical diving conditions exist within recreational limits. A dive to 36m on a deteriorating wreck in low visibility, cold water and heavy current certainly tests the classic definition of a recreational dive!
COURSE CONTENT
This program qualifies you to dive to 40 meters using Nitrox and 15 minutes of accelerated decompression using a one stage decompression gas (oxygen).
The Extended Range Course has been designed to address two distinct objectives. First, it will provide all divers with the knowledge, skill, equipment familiarity, and experience to minimize risk, increase confidence, and have more fun in challenging extended range conditions. Second, it will provide a solid foundation for those divers who wish to participate in more advanced technical training and further extend their range underwater.
Combine this course with the XR Extended Range and XR Limited Trimix and save time and money!

Course price 1 person: $675
More than 1 person: $575
Duration: 4-5 Days
Min. Age: 18 Years Old
Min. Certification: Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep & Nitrox
Min. 24 logged dives including 6 logged Nitrox dives
Extended Range (45m)
Throughout history, man has demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt and overcome barriers
to exploration. From the depths of the oceans, to the highest mountain peaks, and beyond to the reaches of outer space, he has endured environmental challenges.
Equipment innovation, training, preparation, and sheer determination have been the keys to success.
COURSE CONTENT
This course qualifies you to dive to 45 meters using nitrox and 20 minutes of accelerated decompression using a one stage decompression gas (oxygen).
This is a Technical Diving combination of the XR Nitrox and XR Extended Range Course! Here in Cebu, Philippines we are proud to these courses as a combo.
The Extended Range Course has been designed to address two distinct objectives. It will provide a solid foundation to participate in more advanced technical training and extend your range underwater further.
It will introduce you to the Technical Extended Range Total Dive System

Course price 1 person:$975
More than 1 person: $750
Duration: 3 Days
Min. Age: 18 Years Old
Min Certificate: Advanced Diver, Deep, Nitrox
Min 50 Logged DIves
Technical Extended Range Air (50m)
To access and fully explore many advanced dive sites, especially shipwrecks, divers must make stage decompression stops. Even for “recreational” sites in the 30 – 40m range, additional time beyond the NDL may be required to achieve dive objectives. For deeper dives, stage stops will be required for anything more than the most brief “bounce” to depth.
As with most things in life, we learn to balance risk and rewards. When you decide to exceed the no decompression limit, risk increases. This course is designed to provide information, familiarity with equipment, skills, and experience that will help you to manage that risk and reduce it to an acceptable level.
COURSE CONTENT
This course will teach you the procedures required to plan and execute stage decompression dives utilizing 2 or more hyperoxic gases (ean50 and either ean80 or oxygen recommended) for decompression. Technical diving students will be introduced to advanced decompression theory and how divers can benefit from maximizing the “o2 window” during decompression.
The dives must have been made to depths between 30 msw and 50 msw, multiple decompression stops must be made in each dive, and the dives must be logged in the SSI techxr logbook.

Course price 1 person:$1,075
More than 1 person: $850
Duration: 4 Days
Min. Age: 18 Years Old
Min Certificate: Extended Range or Cave Diving or Technical Wreck, Science of diving, Rescue
TXR Normoxic Trimix (65m)
Diver performance on technical dives can often be enhanced by substituting helium for all or part of the nitrogen in the breathing gas mixture. Reducing the amount of nitrogen will lessen the effects of nitrogen
narcosis. Divers can perform more complex tasks at depth, better respond to emergencies, and function more eff ectively in challenging environmental conditions
COURSE CONTENT
This program will qualify you to dive to 60 meters, and in addition to the gas utilized in ADP, you will now use trimix with a minimum content of 18%. The dive planning process is similar to Advanced Decompression Procedures, however, it will be necessary to create dive profiles based on a three gas blend. The gasses that you breathe during training will have a minimum oxygen content of 18% and the helium mix will be to a maximum equivalent narcotic depth of 35 meters. You will be able, based on your ability and comfort level, to plan and execute dives as deep as 60 msw.

Course price 1 person:$1,175
More than 1 person: $950
Duration: 4 Days
Min. Age: 18 Years Old
Min Certificate: Extended Range or Cave Diving or Technical Wreck, Science of diving, Rescue
Min. 75 Logged dives of whish 20 dives deeper than 30m & 10 deco dives
Hypoxic Trimix (80-100m)
For some, the desire to explore beckons them to go further or faster, to climb higher, or dive deeper. They are driven by new challenges; the desire to go where none have gone before, and to discover what was previously unseen. For a Technical Diver, Hypoxic Trimix is truly the underwater explorer’s gas. With it, you can push the envelope and, once again, extend your range.
COURSE CONTENT
There are two pathways in this program; one takes you to 80 meters and the other to 100 meters.
Underwater exploration requires a “hardened” mindset. The true explorer must accept that the risks associated with reaching their goals are greatly increased. You must be willing to commit to the proper level of fitness and to developing and maintaining the necessary skills. In addition, you must understand how to meticulously develop dive plans and calculate gas requirements. There is practically no margin for error. If you choose to become an explorer, nothing less than your best effort will take you to your destination and bring you back. During the Hypoxic Trimix course, you will be introduced to the techniques required to dive trimix blends in which the oxygen content has been reduced to control the ppO2 at depth.

Course price 1 person:$1,275
More than 1 person: $1,050
Duration: 4 Days
Min. Age: 18 Years Old
Min Certificate: Normoxic Trimix or Advanced Decompression Procedures or equivalent.
Min. 100 Logged dives of whish 30 dives deeper than 30m, 10 deeper than 50 and at least 20 requiring multiple staged decompression stops with at least 2 gas switches.
